About we are coders
We are coders was set up by Matt Poole and Tim Ashworth, two coders working as freelance contractors. They met working at the BBC on the media playout component of the website. (Used by the iPlayer, news and sport sites to deliver video and audio). Matt was the technical architect and Tim the lead developer.
Matt and Tim made a really good team and decided to take this forward into the future. Working at the BBC was a fantastic experience and whilst they both could have stayed there they decided to take the plunge and set up we are coders.
The ethos of we are coders is to create the best code and applications that we can.
